Holly Willoughby has confessed that she once got so drunk that she threw up and spilled out of her dress live on children’s television.
The 38-year-old This Morning presenter, who is partial to a tipple during a food segment while on air on the ITV magazine show, admitted that she used to get boozy before going into the studio back in the day.
‘There were times when we went straight from the hotel bar to going live on air,’ Holly told Live magazine.
‘Everyone in children’s TV drinks until 5am. If you mess up, no one cares.
‘It got a bit too wild when my breast popped out of my dress.’
The crazy games didn’t help with Holly’s hangovers either, as she joked: ‘It doesn’t help when you read the script and you’ve got to drink anchovies in custard with some eight year old.
‘No matter how hard you scrub in the shower, you can’t get the smell of custard pie off your skin.’
We can only imagine.
Holly worked in children’s television from the year 2000, starting out on CITV show S Club TV after winning an audition.
That same year, the mum-of-three went on to hot factual entertainment programme Xchange for CBBC, as well as X-permental and Fame Academy.
In 2004, Holly went back to CITV to front Ministry of Mayhem on Saturday mornings with Stephen Mulhern joining in 2006 causing it to be renamed to Holly & Stephen’s Saturday Showdown.
The star won a BAFTA in 2006 for her work as a kids presenter, before moving on to Dancing On Ice with Phillip Schofield.
