A block of flats in east London has been evacuated after a man barricaded himself inside and threatened to ‘blow it up’.
Police negotiators are talking to the man on the seventh floor of Earlsdown House, Barking, who said he would ‘burn the block down’.
Firefighters and paramedics are at the ready outside the 12 storey building.
Police began clearing the building of residents at around 10.20pm.
No injuries have been reported as of yet.
