The Prime Minister appears to be boosting her CV in preparation for life after Brexit.

Theresa May has already confirmed she will step down if and when she delivers Brexit – and she was spotted trialling out some new professions in her constituency today.

Donning a fluorescent yellow ‘marshal’ vest, Mrs May was in her element keeping runners on course during the Maidenhead Easter 10k.

You’d be forgiven for thinking it was just another 62-year-old volunteer from the home counties, but no, it was the Prime Minister who was dishing out the hi-fives this morning.

Mrs May has spent her Easter holiday walking around Snowdonia with her husband Philip, in a brief break away from the chaos in Parliament.

But the Prime Minister will be back to reality next week as she returns to ongoing rows with her own backbenchers over her Brexit deal.

It’s failed to get through the Commons on three occasions, and she now faces the task of securing cross-party agreement on her unloved withdrawal agreement.

She’ll somehow have to keep the hard Brexiteers in her own party happy, while reaching out to Jeremy Corbyn who says Labour won’t budge an inch unless she moves on her ‘red lines’.
